Company Flow is a hip hop trio hailing from Brooklyn, New York founded by Bigg Juss, El-P and Mr.Len. Originally releasing their debut EP “Funcrusher Plus” in 1995, they laid the groundwork for all experimental hip-hop that followed. They opened the door for underground artists, culminating in making Rawkus Records the most prominent indie label of the time. Co-flow’s sound was unlike anything else, DJ Mr.Len’s abstract, spacey beats under El-P’s & Juss’ intellectual lyrics and delivery set the tone for the independent hiphop scene.
Company Flow is considered the quintessential independent group and provided the soundtrack to several of your favorite videos throughout the Golden Era of skateboarding. Most notably featured in Josh Kalis’ part from Transworld’s Sixth Sense, where the Stevie & Josh dynamic was formed.
